Lead the design, analysis, and deployment of Janta’s 3D solar tower structures. This role requires deep mechanical expertise to ensure performance, manufacturability, and structural integrity in outdoor environments.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead mechanical design of solar tower components from concept to release.
• Perform structural and thermal simulations, FEA analysis, and prototyping.
• Collaborate with electrical and software teams to ensure system integration.
• Optimize materials, manufacturing methods, and assembly processes.
• Mentor junior engineers and lead technical reviews.

Qualifications

• S./M.S. in Mechanical Engineering.
• 7+ years of experience in structural or product development roles.
• CAD (SolidWorks/Creo) and FEA proficiency.
• Experience with DFM/DFA and working with manufacturers.

What Success Looks Like:

First 30 Days – Foundation

• Review tower designs, BOMs, and performance requirements.
• Align with software leads on integration points.

After 60 Days – Concept Validation

• Conduct design reviews and FEA simulations.
• Identify component redesign needs or field performance gaps.

After 90 Days – Optimization

• Launch component and subsystem redesigns.
• Draft documentation for scale production.

After 180 Days – Scale Readiness

• Mentor other technical team members.
• Support field deployment and troubleshooting.
